Nowadays, aerodynamics is a key focal point in the vehicle design process. Beyond its direct impact on performance of vehicle, it also has significant effects economics and safety. In last decade numerical methods, mainly Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD), have established themselves as reliable tool that assists process complements classical tunnel tests. However, questions remain about possible obtained accuracy, best practices applied turbulence models. this paper, we present comprehensive study motorcycle using CFD methods which, compared to most common car analysis, many specific features. The motorcycle, along with rider, constitutes shape very complex aerodynamic properties. A detailed insight into flow features presented commentary. front fairing, wheel suspension were identified main contributors drag rider. influence rider position was studied one important elements when considering aerodynamics.
